(Review of Robotniks Rebellion by Rlan)
Ever Wanted to play as Robotnik?Ever want to go on a vengeance to try to destroy Sonic?
Well now you have the chance with this outstanding game.
Roboniks Rebellion puts you in control of Robotnik, with a decent storyline and great level layouts.
(Graphics)
The Graphics in RR are straight from Sonic 3, 2, and 1, also some I have never seen before (probably TGF libraries) and all make a great atmosphere, where nothing is off-colored.Robonik is from Sonic 3, too bad he only has 2 frames for the entire game, but of course he is in his Lovely egg-o-matic.
So this can be excused, Great graphics.
(Sound)
Every level basically has the correct Midi (Marble Zone has MZ music), but some don’t, like the Sky Chase Zone, where when you race Sonic, Resort Island MIDI (from Sonic R) is played, I guess because of the racing atmosphere.(Gameplay)
Through racing, Robotnik is exactly how I thought he would be, zooming everywhere to beat Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles.Unfortunately in many levels, Robotnik is tooooooo damn slow!
Taking about 5 minutes to get through Sky Chase Zone act 1, which is quite annoying.
So RR gets marked down on that.
(Lastability)
This has many levels, and to keep you glued to the Screen for quite a while, with cool, challenging levels, BUT only if you have some patience, because IF you don’t have any patience, The slowness of Robonik will annoy you very much.(The Bottom Line)
A great Game, finally being able to play Robotnik is like a dream come true, it’s just a damn shame that he’s so slow!RATING B

Finally, like almost never before, YOU are put in the driver's seat of the Egg-o-Matic as Eggman in order to destroy a virus created by Sonic himself that turns the Badniks against the Eggman!Unfortunately, if only this game were a little less buggy....
Graphics: Taken straight from the Megadrive games!
The level design is outstanding, and never before have I seen upside down tiles!
The badniks and robotnik himself I have to mark down though, as they all have little less than two frames, and a simple back and forth motion.
Oh well...
8/10
Sound: Not many sound effects other than shooting and blowing up.
The music are those annoying Jeff Read MIDI's that are waaaay wrong and get annoying after awhile.
My three favorites, however, are the Boss MIDI, the Metropolis MIDI, and the Game Over MIDI.
But only 3?
Most of the time I have more.
Please.
4/10
Gameplay: This is where it gets BAAAAAAAAD.
First off, in most levels, Robotnik moves WAAAAAAAY too slow.
It's impossible to beat Knux in Marble Zone Act 2, and because of the speed it is impossible to get past Marble Zone Act 3.
You can almost never die, or else a phantom Eggman will appear somewhere and keep making you die, particularly in Scrap Brain Act 1.
Scrap Brain Act 3 has too many missles, and soon it becomes impossible to avoid them.
However, Metal Sonic's AI is superb, as well as Tails', and the walls and badniks' impact points are perfect.
But this does little to raise the score.
We give it a disappointing
2/10.
Presentation: Not very much.
In every single Act 1, you just trek through the levels shooting up badniks and getting rings (shouldn't those HARM eggman instead?)
Some levels have different challenges, like dodge the missles or race Metal Eggman, but otherwise just plain monotonous.
3/10
Conclusion: This should have been better.
Way better.
For such outstanding graphics, you'd think the fact that it was a fan game would be a little more concealed.
Please, the canned Special Edition is better than this.
MY RATING: 4/10

Ooooooookay then...this is a wierd one.Youre robotnik and you havet o get your robots back.
Go through the old levels and control the super-slow eggmobile.
I mean it: I've seen constipated turtles that go faster than this game.
I really don't like this game: no continues, no starposts, none of that.
I'm gonna be straight and to the point in this review.
Here's why i hate this game...
Graphics: The graphics are from the old genesis games (ekcept scrap brain 2) but it loops.
A lot.
Backround goes of the left, comes immediatly on the right.
If you've played sonic before you should recognize the graphics.
Reused.
No originality.
Sound: This is the only reason the game has a 3.
The sound is midis from the sonic games normally used in the level that they come from (metropolis music in metropolis zone; etc).
But i like video game music, and these a re great midis.
The only reason i like this game, to be honest.
Gameplay: Ummm....
score and rings in corner, lives in corner.
Simple.
I don't know what they mean by presentation so im not gonna spend much time here.
Presentation: Heres why i hate this game.
You control the slow moving eggmobile (like i said).
Really slow.
Race a constapated turtle in his eggmobile, and the turtle will win.
YOu kill enemies by shooting in eight directions.
Thats it.
Sometimes you chase people or fight them.
The only challenge is scrap brain 2.
Missiles are fired at you and they're impossible to avoid.
Conclusion: BOOOOOOORRRRRIIIINGGGG.
DOn't download this as it is a complete wast of time.
The only reason it has a 3 is because of the music.
It sucks big time.

In this game, you play as Dr. Robotnik (or eggman) and in each level, there are 3 acts, each one is different.Act 1, you fly very slowly while shooting infected robots.
Act 2, is a race against an other robot or another mini-game.
Act 3, you fight the boss.
Graphics: The animation is a bit lazy and so are the level designs.
They really didn't impress me.
The badniks are sort of static.
Their pixels are double size it seems.
The Eggman sprite is a Sonic3K one.
I like these, so they give graphics an extra point.
Just about..
Sound: The sound droans on like a broken record.
The midi files are really low pitched and slooooow.
They can really get on your nerves and make you just wanna switch off.
I hated the music.
Gameplay: Gameplay is boring.
The first act in each level is like a chore.
It is really slow.
You slug along in the Egg-O-Matic at snails pace, while shooting little puffs of something.
Act 2 is a little better, but too long.
It is speeded up a little bit, but your opponents are so easy to beat.
Act 3 is annoying.
The boss is usually all over the place.
It just gets on your nerves!
Presentation: The title screen is lazy and so are the begging of act screens.
There is basically no menus in the game so you cannot really mark this highly.
The menus that are there are some of the worst i have seen.
Conclusion: Well, you might think this idea is good.
Yes, the idea is there, but the game is sadly, really really bad.
The sound bores you, the levels are annoying, it is incredibly slow.
A lesson to all Fan game creators, don't make a game like this!

It seems ok at first then it gets crap!REEEEEAAAAALLLLL Crap!!!
Graphics: okay I can admit the graphics are very good and that they are very well constructed!
Sound: The music and sounds can be alright at times but they can be really annoying!!
Gameplay: Fine.
Presentation: Pass!
Conclusion: Bad!
I really don't like this game.
real low!

Well, this is certainly one of the best Click game I've seen in a while. The graphics are taken right from the originals, and the music is great!
There is a downside to playing this game though: it's VERY VERY slow!
In non-scrolling levels, I.E. Bosses, it's fine, but the other levels are HUGE, and slow.
Graphics: Very good, right from the original games.
Sound: Again, right from the originals.
Kind of choppy (could be my CPU then though).
Gameplay: Not too much replay value, after you've beat the game.
Presentation: (No comment)
Conclusion: A great game, very nice grand finale.
You'll have to get there yourself though.
OK, one hint: Think, reversed roles, Doomsday Zone.
