Very nice!I like the story mode character select.
Main thing to point out is that the sprites are sonic advance which are used way too often now.
Graphics: I don't really like the overuse of Sonic advance sprites, so 4/10
Sound: All the right music to each level and the sound effects sound like they suit the game, 10/10
Gameplay: Really fun!
I like having to unlock the characters, and because battle mode has the same characters as you've unlocked in Story mode you get to beat up the characters you've unlocked!
Presentation: Very good little popup menu thingy at the beggining and I like the menu screen, 9/10
Conclusion: All in all it's a fun Sonic advance style game but Sonic advance is used too much so I rate this 8/10
MY RATING: 8/10

Graphics: Great graphics including the way you used the sprites with the gameplay 10/10
Sound: The sound suites the levels and the gameplay and it the maker incorperates the spund with the game good 10/10
Gameplay: The game is not to hard not to easy its just right but only one bad point I kept getting a glitch that made me stick to the walls but otherwise it was great 10/10

Neo Sonic Universe, a game that you can play over and over again and never get tired of.Also one of the very first games I downloaded off of SFGHQ.
When I first started playing I couldn't stop, and I'll tell you why.
Graphics: The game uses Sonic Advance 1 sprites, and backgrounds from various other games.
Take level one for example, using Neo Green Hill Zone and Leaf Forest backgrounds.
Items such as springs and balloons are from Sonic Advance 1 as well.
Sound: I would say that this is basic, but since jump noises weren't used I can't.
Instead of the regular jump sound he used voices of the characters saying "ha!".
The music also fits in with levels and cutscenes very well.
Gameplay: This is one of the best parts.
The engine of the game is very nicely made.
Sonic can use wall kick, Tails can fly, Knuckles can climb and glide, Amy can use her Pico Pico Hammer, and Shadow can use an Emerald Attack.
But there is one flaw though.
If you get too close to certain walls you get stuck on them and unless your Sonic and use wall kick you have to restart the level.
This can get very annoying at times so be careful when your not playing as Sonic.
Presentation: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Shadow are on a mission to stop Evil Tempest.
The original part about this is that it's not Eggman!
Since in about 90% or more of Sonic fan games it is.
The levels are also nicely put together.
There are only six, but when there that long and hard who cares?
At the end of every level there is always a boss that also adds to the difficulty of the game.
And there is also a battle mode that lets you fight with the characters you've unlocked.
Conclusion: In conclusion, This game is Awesome.
Great story, great levels, great ending.
And if it wasn't for getting stuck on walls than this game would have gotten a 10.
But for that reason it gets a 9.
So...download this game right away!

at first when I looked the screenshots of this game, I wanted to download it..Graphics: It copies very well the musics of Sonic Advance..
Sound: the musics rock!
they're remixes of the old Sonic-games musics me likey!
Gameplay: well, it is difficult and it has big stages with problems to solve.. and the battle mode is very challenging cool..
Presentation: now I don't know what that means, because I am finnish..
Conclusion: maybe the best sonic fan game ever, I think.. with lot of gameplay and.. everything.

Well the game is perfrct ascept the fact that IT IS SO STENKEN HARD but I give this a 9/10 oh ya sonic has sp moves but HE CAN'T JUMP HIGH.Graphics: You have the sonic advance spites so you should love it 10/10
Sound: Can't sy much soooooooo....8/10
Gameplay: Sonic and friends are hard to control so it has an 6/10 from me.
Presentation: Sonic is face with a new villen that can take the form of all his firends and now sonic has to set them free.
Conclusion: The game is posativaly well....fun so 10/10

I came to SFGHQ one night out of complete boredom looking for something to do.Checking the complete fangames section, I came across this game, Neo Sonic Universe.
I downloaded it and played up to the second level in Sonic's game and came to the conclusion that this is a pretty darn good game.
Graphics: Apparently the creator of this game wanted it to look a lot like the Sonic Advance series, and he pulled it off pretty well.
None of the graphics look out of place aside from the horribly pixelated boss of the first level.
The second level features a nifty snow effect.
Aside from that, the graphics are pretty average.
8/10
Sound: The music in Neo Sonic Universe is right on.
I'm not sure if some of the music is original or not, but I can't name the tune in the first level.
The second level has a remix from Sonic CD, though which level it's from I forget.
As for sound effects, they seem way too quiet.
Either that or the music is too loud.
Fortunately that's what the Windows programmers invented volume control for.
9/10
Gameplay: This game will probably last a while.
The levels are sufficiently large and there are five different characters to play as; Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy,and Shadow.
I'm left to wonder if finishing their games unlocks Super Sonic.
The levels are well designed, jumping on a switch will initiate a camera cut to the door that it opens, which I thought was a cool feature.
10/10
Presentation: This game almost looks professionally made.
The engine is well programmed with no bugs that I could find.
It has all the basics, including the spindash and rolling, and it also has wall jumping and grinding.
The grinding is a bit slow though.
And that's just Sonic, I haven't unlocked the other characters yet.
In addition to all that, this game also features a launcher so you can choose between windowed or fullscreen, keyboard or gamepad, and which language.
9/10
Conclusion: Overall I would say I was impressed by this game, and I haven't even passed the second level.
It needs improvement in the engine and some of the graphics, but that certainly doesn't make the game unplayable.
Download this game, you'll probably like it.

So far, the story is good.It starts out with Sonic walking and then Shadow shows up and blows him of a cliff with a Chaos Emerald.
Graphics: Very nice.
In fact I saw that there was some "Sonic Advance 2" props in there.
Sound: The music made for this game is great!
The title screen had the Icecap snowboard sequence music from Sonic Adventure.
Gameplay: The wall kick for Sonic is a very nice effect.
I couldn't figure it out at first.
Presentation: Not bad, but I've seen better.
Conclusion: This game is so great, I'm gonna give this what movie critics Roger & Epert say: "Two Thumbs Up!!"

its a good game all a round you get to play as sonic, shadow, tails, & amy the bad part is that there isn,t a walkthrough for the bosses, but it saves your game automaticly!Graphics: there the best for a fan made game i give it a 17 out of 10.
Sound: the sound is all right i give it a 7 out of 10.
Gameplay: it has remarkable gameplay as you go throu the game you get different characters to play as i give it a 30 out of 10.
Presentation: the presentation is the best ever!
i give it a 21 out of 10.
Conclusion: its the best make more like it.

the first time i played the game i thought "hooray finnely an advance fan game" when i started i decided "unhooray this is so hard" and it was but only with sonic, with the others [even shadow and amy] it was eazier, but i must mention a bug that might ruin your game: sometimes your charecter gets glued to the wall when you get to close to it.the battle mode rocks two.
Graphics: like i said advance very good!
but whats that sonic picture doing in dark sky zone?
Sound: excellent music!
but its two loud and you cant lower the volume.
sounds are new, i never heard sonic and the others jump like that how nice.
Gameplay: its eazy to play and its fun after you learn how to play [fully] it also chaos emeralds thats an intresting add on.
Presentation: well the adventures menu is kinda poorly done i seen better.
the battle one has something in it.
Conclusion: very nice game.
i give an 8 cuse its really hard and theres a serious a bug
MY RATING: 8/10

Hmmm...Have you ever wanted a game with great replay value, but the engine didn't stink either?
This is it.
This is by far the best game i've ever played.
Graphics: Sonic Advance player sprites, but the rest looks homeade.
In Battle mode, the effects are great!
Gradiants, explosions, and the works.
Sound: The MIDI music is kind of homeade, and is way too loud, but that's with my computer.
In battle, mp3s play the whole time.
The level music is completely homeade, but very nice.
Gameplay: Great engine!
No slow-downs, stuck-in-the-celling fever, or unpredictable jumps.
My only complaint is that you get stuck in the wall ALOT, so if you aren't Sonic, it can be quite a problem.
It would've gotten a better grade if he fixed this.
Presentation: Interesting plot.
All the players are captured by Evil Tempest, who can assume the shape of Shadow.
You have to go through the game five times over.
The players are: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow.
6 zones.
Conclusion: Very nicely put together, but @leX could've done better.
Not much better, but better nonetheless.
I love it!!! Again, this is the best i've played.
MY RATING: 9/10

WOW!!!I love this game so much.
Everything is great about this game.
Graphics: Mostly Sonic Advance 1&2 stuff but it blends in great with the style and story of it.
*******
7 stars
Sound: Never heard this music before but it goes well with all the levels.
The sound effects are great and match up with whats happening in the game.
********
8 stars
Gameplay: This game has some great attacks and moves.
Besides all the normal attacks you can now wall jump.
The levels are huge and the story is great.
When battling Bosses it makes it much harder and challenging but all in all it has an absoulute great style of gameplay.
In Battle mode the way you can use the diffrent moves makes it really fun and challenging at the same time.
**********
10 stars
Presentation: The intro is cool.
And the fact you can choose from two diffrent modes(adventure & battle)is great and makes the game more fun.
**********
10 stars
Conclusion: WOW!!!
This has to be one of the best games I have ever played.
I hope to see more games like this from Alex.
MY RATING: 10/10
(Review of Neo Sonic Universe by Christopher
It has a great storyline. The thing is it does the same levels with just defferent characters.
Graphics: The graphics are 2D.
They are great sprites.
There ar3e six levels with greatly disigned bosses at the end of every one of them.
Sound: Original music.
If you are annoyed by the sound of Sonic's "boing" sound when he jumps, this games has it.
When characters jump, they have a voice wave.
Gameplay: The characters have their own special powers in both the Normal and Battle mode.
There is a glitch where you can get stuck against a wall, so be careful when passing by walls.
Presentation: The screen is incredibly small.
If you play this game for a while, and then play an original sonic game, it looks huge.
Conclusion: This is a great game, but it loops through the same levels over and over.
The cheats menu in battle mode, which you can unlock by finishing Normal mode with al of the chaos emeralds, is only in Porteaguese.
But, other than that, a great game.
MY RATING: 8/10
(Review of Neo Sonic Universe by knightmare
the game at first looked pretty dull with shadow commin and telling sonic he was goin to destroy him i was like WTF!?but then the game takes a twist and the chaos blast what "Shadow" uses is lovely graphics.
the game then gets cooler by the minuite.
Graphics: so the graphics are basicly sonic advance 1 sprites with the odd sonic advance 2 2 sprite here and there but the grapphic as i sed for the chaos control are BLINDING 9/10
Sound: the sound is pretty good 7/10
Gameplay: the game play is o.k this is the only real major fault the deceleration is absouloutly annoying so u will try to stop and fall straight off the edge and some times the controls just completely ignore u also this is a sonic game and the amount of loop de loops are minimal 4/10
Presentation: the game looks just like a new advance game with old sprites also the new wall kick is awesome it adds a little memory of sonic heroes 9/10
Conclusion: i think the game is wicked and definatly deserves to be up near the top of the best games list
MY RATING: 9/10
(Review of Neo Sonic Universe by The WNAT!!!
This is a very long fan game.it might take a while to beat it intirely.
It also includes a battle mode, against a computer or friend.
2 languages.
Graphics: sorta remindes me of playing sonic advance.
It does have parralex scroll, which is good.
7/10
Sound: good sound.
some from sonic the fighters.
This game doesnt use the same sonic songs you hear in other fan games.
9/10
Gameplay: Very long and hard to beat.
I still havent got to Knuckles, who is the 3rd to unlock.
There is a bonus stage, and bosses at the end of each zone.
Alot of switch and doors and balloons.
No loops though. We need to get more games that have them.
Tails can fly, but sonic jump seems very low.
The battle mode is alright.
Modes to unlock, etc.
The controls are sorta questionable and not very well explained.
6/10
Presentation: A new villian apears as shadow and tikal warns sonic that it can shift shape.
You start out as sonic and unlock more characters once you beat all of his levels.
There also is a battle mode which is ok to play.
Good intro and menu graphics.
Conclusion: This game is good if you like long games.
I think they gameplay is more on switches and doors and not speedy sonic gameplay.
MY RATING: 7/10
(Review of Neo Sonic Universe by Sharpsoft Entertainment
The game is pretty cool for the most part.If you can tolerate the maze-like stages that @lex made from different libs from the Sonic Advance stages, I think you might be able to last 15 minutes before just quitting.
Graphics: The graphics are great.
@lex really got the game looking good with the Sonic Advance sprites and the background libs.
The sprites look awesome, and the backgrounds really look superior to those of the actual Sonic Advance.
@lex really got close to making this appear as a SonicTeam fangame.
Sound: The sound is pretty good.
The music to the game is from various games, but I can tell you that Stage Two: Neo Amy's City has the music from Sonic CD's Metallic Madness: Bad Futures.
When Sonic jumps you here that HUH!
from Sonic Adventure 2 sounds file in the goodies section of this site.
Sounds pretty good.
But the sounds kind of make you wonder: why didn't Sonic Team put that Sonic sound on their GBA Sonic games?
Gameplay: The gameplay is fantastic, except for one little mess up.
The characters' Spin Dash doesn't make you go for about 30 feet.
Instead it just sends you about 2 inches from the place where you started from.
I also like that automatic gamesave feature!
Presentation: Out of most fangames, you see those Sega Genesis style sprites which kind of makes you want to play Sonic Mega Collection for the Gamecube, but in Neo Sonic Universe, you see all of that Sonic Advance stuff and it makes you think one thing: I want to keep playing this game.
Conclusion: This game is pretty good, but it could have been better.
The levels, sprites, and menu screens look fine. Despite all the music mix-ups, Neo Sonic Universe is a pretty good fangame.
But with my newest fangame coming: Sonic Heroes: The Wave Conspiracy, I'd like to see how long Neo Sonic Universe stands.
But I have to say something to NSU's creater @lex.
Your fangame gives my a higher standard to reach, and through your game, I think I know what I have to do to beat your game!
MY RATING: 10/10
(Review of Neo Sonic Universe by Charem
Neo Sonic Universe is a very large - and very fun - game.A lot of thought was put into making it.
Here, I'll show the good and bad of this game.
Of course.
Now, the review...
Graphics: The graphics of this game are very nice.
Different parts of the background scroll at different paces, just like in the official Sonic games.
The environments of each zone are very nice; the graphics for them are not from any Sonic game (at least, I think so), so each level feels fresh and new from anything you've ever seen before.
The enemy models are cool, too; while a few have been seen before, other enemy models are not from any Sonic game, and yet fit in very nicely.
Character models are Sonic Advance sprites (or maybe Sonic Advance 2?
I can get them mixed up.), and look nice in the levels.
@leX has paid attention to detail, also; for example, I once had to stop playing the game while using Tails.
After a short time, Tails started to point to the right.
This proves that @leX has even spent the time to put in animations for some of the characters (Some, not all.).
Sound: The sounds are pretty good.
Sonic and pals say a little something when they do some moves (jumping will make your character go 'Hah').
Each character also has their own unique voice.
The music is pretty nice. I didn't recognize most of it - as most of it wasn't from Sonic games.
I caught a tune here and there that I knew were from other games, but there may be completely original songs.
As a whole, though, the music fits the level it's in very well (got to love Dark Sky Zone!).
Gameplay: This game was a bit monotomous in that you only had Sonic to choose from, then after 'winning' (not winning all the way of course...you've got to unlock all the characters and, of course, get all the Chaos Emeralds) the game, you get to use Tails for the game.
The process continues, unlocking Knuckles after beating the game with Tails, Amy after beating the game with Knuckles, and Shadow after beating the game with Amy.
You'll have to go through every level a total of 5 times, at least.
Still, what held my attention was that each character was very different from the next.
To climb a wall while using Sonic, you had to wall-kick, but while using Tails, you had to fly.
That may not sound like too much variety, but it actually makes quite a difference.
There is only one major glitch in the game.
Sometimes, when you run into a wall hard enough or in an awkward way, you get completely stuck along the wall and have to restart the level.
This happened to me around 20 times during the game; fortunately, if the wall ends wither by you falling below it or jumping above it, you can get unstuck.
As such, I only really had to restart about 10 times.
Presentation: Neo Sonic Universe is a bit different from normal Sonic games.
All of the levels feature switches, which you flip to open the next area, which often has another switch to continue the process.
As such, the game doesn't have you running at full-speed one direction, like most Sonic games (actually, you hardly ever run full-speed AT ALL).
Still, this change didn't really turn me off, and it was entertaining.
There's not as much backtracking as one would dread - @leX planned it that way.
There's plenty of variety in this game.
You'll have to use different tactics to defeat enemies with different characters.
For example, Amy cannot spindash, so you must focus on jumping to kill enemies.
Also, each character has their own special ability.
You can use it by pressing up and the jump button while on the ground.
The bosses in the game are too easy in some ways, and too hard in other ways.
Touching a boss while not attacking causes you to die, even if you have rings.
However, if you just attack the boss at the right time, you can kill each one pretty quickly (if you take 10 seconds to kill the hornet robot boss, you're kind of slow!).
Still, the bosses are fun, as each requires a different tactic to defeat.
The enemies in this game is the worst thing about this game.
While some are fine (jumping monkeys, coconut-dropping monkeys), most do nothing more than pace back and forth.
Sure, they can still trip you up, but when you've got 4 different kinds of robots that do only that, you start to realize that each nicely-drawn enemy looks capable of doing more.
Also, the variety of the robots - while somewhat skimpy - is enough to handle the game...if only they were placed more strategically throughout the levels.
In the first level alone, you encounter most, if not all, of the enemies in the game.
I wish that @leX would've focused on cutting down on the variety of enemies in each level, and spaced them out in between levels instead.
Conclusion: This game isn't perfect, but it's not bad at all.
It has plenty of replay value - especially if you have a friend (the battle mode is pretty entertaining).
The game is pretty polished, with few glitches.
I recommend this game to anybody who's looking for more than just a short fan game.

This game is the craziest PC game i heve ever played.Whoever made it should team up with sega or something to publish it.
Graphics: From SAdv2, they are amazin, some are from SAdv1, which are aslo crazy cool.
Sound: Superb.
I am left speechless.
Gameplay: The keyboard controls are a bit sketchy, but a usb controller should fix that,
Presentation: This game... is the best... they should have charged me to play it.
thank god its free.
Conclusion: THIS IS THE BEST FAN GAME EVER!!

For the first thing i hav to say is brilliance. This game goes further than most fan games usually do with more characters to play and 2 different modes of gameplay.
And i must say the battle mode is great!
Coming from me this is a must downlaod game
Graphics: The graphics are fantastic.
They seem to be taken from Sonic Battles or even Sonic Advance.
What i do like is that every motion and attack is jus right and isnt messy like other fan games.
I would have to give it a 10/10
Sound: The sound would have to be reconized also.
The sounds seem to be perfectly taken and sounds awesome.
Of course the music isnt to my favorite liking but it is still really good.
I'd have to give it a 9/10
Gameplay: I personally loved the gameplay.
Each character comes with his/her own special moves that only they have.
And in battle mode there are even more special moves that you need to see by yourself.
All the running and jumping and all the other movement (and some others) that you would expect in a sonic game is all here and done well.
This rightfully deserves a 10/10
Presentation: It starts off with you havin to stop the Evil Tempest.
You start playing as Sonic and have to go through the levels so you can "find" and unlock the next character.
Each characters adventure ends with tikal saying that you can now play as the next character.
Unlock all of them and you and go to the special stage.
I dont wanna give anything away so i suggest you play for yourself.
In all it deserves a 9/10
Conclusion: In conclusion this game gets a big WOW!
Because thats how i was when i beat the game.
This is a must download game for anyone who wants to play a game that is just a couple of steps lower than a real sonic advance game.
So i suggest you downlaod it.

The first time I see this game, I think it was very cool and funny and very simple but...Graphics: The graphic is from Sonic Advance,a great game, and the idea to create new backgrounds is simple fantastic
Sound: The sounds are simple:good music, and all sounds that a Sonic's game need.
Gameplay: Well, that's a bad thing:I think the game is really too hard, but the boss are not this force, but the levels are very impossible to clear:too long and too difficult.
Presentation: Good job boys, the presentation is simple and not stupid.
Conclusion: Yeah a great job for @lex,but the game is really really too hard.
The battle mode is funny and very playable.

a good game that really matches into the sonic genre, unfortunatly the levels tend to drag on until you find that you've been playing the same level for 30 minsGraphics: the playable charachters are good, but they dont match styles with some of the enemies.
and the first boss seems a bit pixely
Sound: good music, but annoying effects that dont really sound like sonic.
good music though
Gameplay: as I've said, the levels tend to drag on a bit and there a bit too difficult.... and the first boss is almost impossible
Presentation: its VERY good... very official like a real sonic game espiacially the select screen I love the ring effect
Conclusion: theres more good than bad in here....

Gameplay: it's awesome.
it's very hard though.

Someone diguised as Shadow trying to destroy the world. This game doesn't sound fun to you, right?
Well, you'd better think twice on that.
Graphics: The graphics are awsome, it's like taking Sonic Advance 1 & 2 and mixing it together.
The levels are huge.
The special stages are different than the original Sonic games, which is fun.
The bosses they're okay, even though they are just oversized badniks, they're still a great challenge to go against.
Sound: The music is great, different than that of the original Sonic games, the creator used perfect music choices for all of the levels, and I like that.
Then there's the sound effects, you have all of the original sound effects, which is good, because that's how the Sonic games are.
Gameplay: Gameplay is awsome, the controls are great.
Even though you have to go through a character's entire story in order to play as the next character, the gameplay is great.
When you play Battle Mode the characters have certain moves that are only available in battle mode, and that's pretty cool, plus there are special features that you can unlock once you have collected all seven chaos emeralds.
Presentation: The engine is fairly good, although, each time you get hit by a badnik, or land on spikes, you kinda get thrown a bit to far, and you can't control your character until he/she comes to a complete stop.
Then there's the bosses, which really kinda sucks, if you have rings, and you get hit by the boss, you die immediately, but the odd thing is, that when you die, you still kept the amount of rings you had, unless of course you lost them while facing the boss.
Conclusion: A very good game, one I concider downloading.

the games story was good you had to use sonic and the game to defeat evil tempestGraphics: the graphics were awesome and just like the sonic advance series 10/10
Sound: the sound was all music from old sonic games and hearing the music made me love the game more 10/10
Gameplay: gameplay was over all good but at times if you ran into a wall you would get stuck and you'd have to start the level over which could be really frustating 9/10
Presentation: the games color was really on key and the story was built beautifully 10/10
Conclusion: this game made me happy to be a sonic fan

This is a very good game for anyone. In Battle Mode you can fight against the computer.
There are three modes: 2-player mode, Arcade Mode, and a secret mode:) I would recomend it!
Graphics: The graphics are very good for all characters execpt Tails.
It has good parts all the way, execpt for spin dash and jumping.
That was problably homemade.
All the characters are from Sonic Advance 2.
Don't worry...when you play with Tails, You'll hardly notice the bad jump and dash.
Sound: I really like the BGM.
The SFX are good too.
Pretty much, the music was just cut and paste.
It happens right when it's time.
Gameplay: The gameplay is great, execpt sticking to the walls.
You have to go reset the game and play the level over again.
You save everytime you win a level, and it's pretty good.
All the characters move good.
I give it a thumbs up.
Presentation: The rings don't fade away quickly, so you can gather them up.
Sonic comes with the climb jump thing, Knuckles can climb walls and glide, Amy has two Love Hammer attacks, air and ground, and Tails can whip and fly.
Knuckles can do fire punch, and Shadow can do Emerald Attacks.
They all have their special moves with them at the start of the game.
Of course you have to win and win to get the characters...
Conclusion: It's a pretty good game.
Even though the bugs get in the way, it makes it more challenging.
It would be perfect without bugs, a 10, but the bugs made it a 9.

First of all, I want to thank @lex, for making such an awesome game.I LOVED it!
It was amazing from the beginning.
If he makes anything else Sonic-related, I'm gonna want to check it out!
10/10 overall.
Graphics: Not too bad, the sprites were from Sonic 1-2.
can't really tell.
Most of the backgrounds were probably scrapped together from assorted Sonic games, but what REALLY bowled me over like a set of 10-pins was Rock Mountain zone!
Completely original, I give it a thumbs-up for effort!
9/10 graphics.
Sound: Now, the sound was fine.
Most jumping SFX were from Sonic Adventure/SA2(Sonic, Knux, Amy), but next time, actually find a Tails jumping noise, instead of replacing it with Sonic's jump!
8/10 sound.
Gameplay: Same as anything, arrow keys to move, Ctrl to jump, and so on.
Nothing too obvious.
But, on the other hand, you have to solve numerous puzzles opening doors!
It's fun and challenging at the same time.
9/10 Gameplay.
Presentation: The story dialouge was okay, Evil Tempest diguising himself as Shadow, collecting severed heads of Tikal to get to the Bonus Stage.
I could only get ONE emerald!!!!!!
JUST ONE.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
Oh.. I feel like I want to beat something out of sorrow/anger...
9/10 Presentation.
Conclusion: Other wise, this game is awesome.
I absolutely love it.
A+.
I reccomend it to anyone who wants to play something Sonic-y.
I have no idea what that word meant.
Anyway, Great stuff.

This game has a huge amount of potential, but ultimately wastes it through shockingly bad level design and repetitive gameplay.Graphics: All the graphics are ripped from the Sonic Advance series.
It would have been nice to see some original stuff, but they look good so why not use them.
All the levels have their own feel, and it seems to all fit together quite nicely.
The parallaxing is done well, and the backgrounds generally have a slick and professional look about them.
Let down slightly by the bosses, which are clearly just oversized badniks with little or no attempt to disguise the fact.
Not too shabby, though.
Sound: This game has a nice soundtrack, varying well and keeping the tempo of the game up nicely.
The effects are all ripped from Sonic Advance/Adventure series.
A bit more variety would have been nice, but they get the job done.
Gameplay: Finally, the bosses.
Original, but not particularly inventive, these are so unforgiving that when you do beat them it feels as though it's by luck more than anything else.
Oh, and they get easier as the game goes on.
Learning curve?
What learning curve?
Presentation: The aforementioned opening scene does lead you into thinking there's quite a storyline behind this game - unfortunately, however, you hear nothing more of it throughout the game.
A little cohesion goes a long way, y'know.
Conclusion: This game game me neither enjoyment nor satisfaction, things which ultimately a game should set out to provide.
It's still worth a download, if only to see how good a game can look and how bad level design can be.
