Amy is interested in hanging around with Sonic, but Sonic is having none of it as he makes up an excuse to avoid Amy.
As Sonic runs away, Amy tries to follow him but she get's lost along the way and get's attacked by one of Eggman's Minions.
Determined that she does not need Sonic's or the others help she adventures off to foil Eggman's plans on her own.
One Girl Army is a Sonic fangame in the sense that it has familiar characters, but its a scrolling beat-em-up instead of a platformer.
You take control of Amy and fight your way through waves of enemies, with your main targets being the leaders in each stage.
There are four stages in the game - each one is split up into two parts.
At the end of a stage, there is either a minigame or a boss to contend with.
You can learn various special moves and combination attacks as you progress and there is also a devastating fury attack that knocks enemies for six! Additional features include configurable controls, two difficulty settings and an autosave/load system.
I highly reccommend that you read the great help file before playing the game.
It explains how to change the default controls (they're set up a bit different from usual, spread across two players), as well as the game mechanics, saving/loading and a few other useful tips.
Default controls:
S,Z,X,C = move
< (comma) = attack
> (dot) = jump
M = special
< + M = fury attack
Ctrl-Y = change controls

(Review of Amy: One Girl Army by Eddy F.
What the f5ck?Has no one played this?
This is a fan game very worthy of a review, people!
This is certainly one of the most enjoyable fangames I've ever played.
The quality is quite nice.
Small touches like seemlessly blending Amy's Advance/Battle sprites works really well.
The twist of Seiken Densetsu 3 enemies/locations is rather amusing, as well.
Graphics: Graphics: 9/10
The graphics here are quite nice and well put-together.
Somehow, you don't really see Amy and the enemies clashing, despite their distinctly different styles.
Special effects are fine, enemies are decently animated, etc.
Care was taken to giving Amy a good sprite, as mentioned above.
The little expressions in the dialogue are good, too.
Sound: Sound: 10/10
Sound is happy.
The music is fine, and the theme song is nice.
The edited version for the title screen is great, too.
The sound effects flow well.
Amy's voice may irritate some, but I think it was implemented well.
Not too much of it, (unless you really suck and get hurt a lot) but enough to give Amy personality (even if it's not technically her voice).
Gameplay: Gameplay: 8/10
The game is, for the most part, a side-scroller beat-'em-up like Streets of Rage and the good ol' TMNT arcade games.
As soon as you start playin' it, you'll feel the Old Skool goodness.
This type of gameplay can get really repetitive real quick, but there are enough elements here to keep you occupied.
The 'Leader' aspect is unique, and I like it.
It's original, and it adds a layer of depth to the gameplay, causing you to actually put forth some kind of strategy.
Do you wittle the leader's health down by killing the wussies, or do you take everyone out by beating up the buff leader at the get-go?
The special moves work very good, too, and are practically necessary later on.
The slowly-recharging bar combined with the rage bar is utilized well.
Lastly, there are the combo-trees.
I'll be honest, I haven't sifted through all the combos yet, but I've discovered some myself, and I see some wonderful potential.
They give you a reason to fiddle with it even after it's beaten.
Lastly, Clwe mixes things up a few times, and although these different styles of stages/boss fights don't match up with the beat-'em-up gameplay, they play very well.
I was impressed at how the boss fights felt distintly Sonic-esque (not Sonic Advance, necessarily).
I almost didn't realize the difference.
Presentation: Presentation: 9/10
I would've liked to see another move or two (upgrade moves that don't otherwise get upgrades), or maybe at least a different type of Fury attack.
The Easy mode was a good choice. Maybe a Hard Mode (with, perhaps, a different ending) would make things even sweeter.
Also, I had a bit of trouble controlling Amy later on in the game.
It seemed like she wouldn't attack quite as quick as I would like after getting hit/jumping.
A minor problem when you get used to it.
Lastly, the title screen kicks ASS.
Conclusion: Wonderful game.
This thing deserves some credit.
Ironically, this is the best Sonic fan-game I have played, even though the style is different, and the main character is Amy.
Sonic Time-Attack looks pretty interesting, though, but it doesn't play nearly as smoothly as this.
Graphics, Sound, and Gameplay--this game has it.
A very finely crafted fan game, indeed.
I felt like a One Girl Army.
