QTEzone was the first game to be designed by B'man Games.
It was designed to be partly Shenmue-style QTEs (Quick Timer Events), and partly classic Sonic gameplay.
The three demos released had a good reception from the SFGHQ, but criticised for bad graphics and being too easy (a common problem with QTEs, remedied in Sonic QTE's case with hard-to-read text and a non-graphical way of showing which button to press).
After 2 months of production, QTEzone was canned.
Reasons for this included a high resolution which caused slowdown in PCs that weren't high-end; the bad graphics; and that in order to make these QTE levels, many level screens had to be used, which among other things looked sloppy.
I still recommend downloading Demo 3 for a quick thrill though!
