Yes, well for those of you who don't know what SoOm is, here's A nutshell version of the story.
Eggman kidnaps Amy without Sonic knowing it and puts A special control device in her arm so she will move at his will.
When Sonic isn't paying close enough attention, Amy (without her will to react) kills Sonic.
2 years later, The world is 90% ruled by Eggman, Who has since removed all known Springs to protect his kingdom.
Now, Sonic returns from the Dead!
Can he defeat the evil doctor before time can't be stopped?
Shadow also has his own plot that ties in with Sonic's story.

This was suppose to be my big game, the last one I would ever make.
The irony is that it would be a few more projects before that fate.
It was to have everything: Animated cutscenes, multiple acts upon multiple zones, original music, original graphics... the works.
And some of that was accomplished: Zone 2's music is original, all of the zone graphics were done or edited by me, and there was one scene animated (but not implemented) before cancellation.
The big problem with this game is within it's blandness and poor design.
There are no badniks to kill and no real challenge in platforming.
The game is still very much playable, but don't be surprised if you get bored before completing it.
I would like to note that this is where I actually started trying to understand the underlying engine the games were based on and making changes to it.
It was also the first project I did that got any attention beyond my few close friends at the time.
