Here's just a little thing I whipped up to showcase the nifty X-Treme animations.
Enjoy!

(Review of Sonic X-Treme 2D by Rlan)
Ever since the days of the showing of the lost game, Sonic Xtreme for the Sega Saturn, there was always wonder what the game looked like. The thanks to Andre Dirk (owner of Secrets of Sonic the Hedgehog of the SSRG) and Rob Harris (Main guy for he sprites of Sonic Xtreme) they were brought to life by having animated GIF of all the Sonic Movement, even the Badniks for the game.
AJ Freda has created a small game, which uses the power of the Sonic Sprites to create one cool, but fairly short, 2D vers.
Of Sonic Xtreme! Although this demos is very small (only one easy level) there is still much enjoyment to be had.
There are many paths through the level.
And a special "Jump" maneuver by pressing down and letting go (Sonic then springs upward).
Sonic unfortunately does jump around a bit (he wobbles) but I isn’t really recognizable.
All up a great little game.
