"What is Sonic Doom 2?", you ask?
Think of it like SRB2 v0.01. In fact, SRB2 was built on top of SD2 for several months before it could stand on its own.
Sonic Doom 2 – Made by Super Sonic Team Info by Rlan
Ever Played Doom and are bored of shooting down Zombies etc?
Wanted to go around instead as a Sonic Character shooting down well-known bots?
Here’s your chance!
This "Beta" version of Sonic Doom 2 has whopping 35 levels!
All are completely based on sonic games (e.g. Carnival Night Zone) and has 4 characters to choose from (Knuckles, Sonic, Tails, and Metal Sonic) and has a variety of Badniks to kill from the TV shows (Sonic Anime and AoStH).
It’s a darn good game.
Only the sprites of the sonic etc need some work (some haven’t even been started yet) but to play the entire lot of levels is a challenge, although some levels do have bugs in them, most are fine.
